The Vault by Vans x Bedwin & the Heartbreakers collection blends West Coast and Tokyo street culture with Bedwin’s iconic designs. Founded by Masafumi “Bebetan” Watanabe in Tokyo in 2004, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers draw inspiration from traditional American menswear, particularly from the 1980’s and 1990’s.
The upper consists of fabrics that are cut in different patterns and colour variations which offers a unique take on each pair of shoes with no two pairs being the same. The Old Skool lands with multi-coloured fabrics on the tongue and media side, while the lateral side is dressed in canvas with embroidered side stripe detailing.
