Military gear is the primary source of inspiration for Tetsu Nishiyama's brand WTAPS, which has been championing the aesthetic for decades now. Vans Vault have yet again linked up with the Japanese streetwear brand for a collaboration merging both militaria and skate culture. This second drop takes inspiration from the cold weather season and the deep love of snowboarding shared by both brands. Featuring monotone, earthy hues influenced by military styling and direction. The Coast CC NS LX is an outdoor slip-on with a synthetic nubuck upper and stretchy collar/heel for easy on & off. WTAPS branding can be found printed at the insole and on the midsole & heel. The thick rubber outsole takes care of traction.
