Born in Paris in 2011 & inspired by the city ever since, ​AMI means "friend" in French and stands for a relaxed, authentic and friendly approach to fashion. The Puma x AMI collection uses minimalistic branding, a mix of neutral and bold colours, and premium materials, to blur the boundaries between casual and chic. Slipstream was released in the 1987 as a competitive, premium basketball shoe and offered great comfort and stability.​
