The Clyde is an unsung hero in the world of trainers, an icon for the many subcultures it represented since its conception in 1973. Introduced as Walt “Clyde” Frazier's signature basketball shoe, it quickly found its way onto the feet of fans, eventually seeping into everyday culture. For the SOHO pack, the Puma team have turned to the Clyde to create two colourways that represent the vibrancy of the Soho districts in New York and London respectively.
With a Clean leather upper, the iconic form strip overlaid in textured blue suede, the NYC variation thrives on simplicity, allowing the highly considered colourway to take centre stage. Additional details include leather laces and Soho street details on the tongue label. Little call-outs to New York City can be found dispersed throughout the shoe.
