Worn on fashion runways, and morning runs. New Balance's sixth iteration of the 990 is upon us. With the aim to modernise the ever evolving 990, the New Balance team have created their boldest version of the classic runner to date. The V6 boasts a chunky ENCAP midsole, with a mesh and suede upper that has a more minimal approach than previous models. The remaining elements have been blown up in proportion to fill the absent space, creating an exaggerated effect that pronounces the main features of the 990 model and puts only the essentials in the equation. New Balance branding can be found on the heel cup, while foiled 990 type is found on the lateral side of the shoe.
