Neighborhood clothing was founded in the Harajuku district of Tokyo in 1994, dreamt up by a young motorcycle enthusiast called Shinsuke Takizawa. Inspired by the growing motorcycle subculture in Japan, Shinsuke set out to fuse expert apparel with high-fashion design.
Part of Neighborhood's SS22 drop the Coverall / CN-Jacket is made from a blend of organic cotton and cordura nylon ripstop material, and its design incorporates pocket details with military elements based on the raglan sleeve coveralls. The lattice surface of the ripstop was washed and exposed to give it expression.
