This latest Mizuno collaboration sees the Japanese footwear brand pair up with long running manga series Naruto for a powerful take on the Contender model, applying printed & embroidered iconography from the series to premium materials with ninja-like discipline. Each colourway of this special collaboration has been modelled after one the main characters of the series, with the purple and black variation, enriched by a snake-textured logo, represents anti-hero Sasuke, while the black and yellow scheme is a direct nod to titular character Naruto’s jumpsuit. The mesh upper features suede overlays with the tongue & heel featuring embroidered & printed Naruto iconography as well as collaborative branding printed at the insole.
