After celebrating the 30th anniversary of Le Coq Sportif's 90s running icons over the last few months, the French sportswear brand turns its attention to the court. The LCS T1000 was first released at the beginning of the 90s, and much like its fictional namesake from one of the decade's biggest films it too was an unstoppable weapon on the court. For Summer '22, the classic style is modernised and arrives in its original white leather make-up, complimented by grey accents, and retains its multitude of overlays. Perforated detailing features on the vamp and on the rear quarter, while a slightly shiny retro-effect mesh appears on the tongue. The sole unit is made up of EVA pods for better comfort and an optimal stride, and like all the running shoes that make up the LCS R franchise, the pods are located at the back for cushioning, as well as at the front of the model for the foot propulsion. The shoe is finished with Le Coq Sportif branding embroidered on the tongue, printed on the sock liner, and debossed on the side.
