In the French Pyrenees, as well as in large parts of Bavaria, paradisiacal conditions still prevail for the most part for all fishing enthusiasts. In both regions, the rainbow trout is one of the most fished trout species. The latter is a fish species native to North America that was introduced to Europe in 1879. The special feature of the rainbow trout is its longitudinal stripe, which changes colour depending on the angle of view and the incidence of light and is predominantly pink. This extraordinary fish serves as the unifying element of this cross-border collab.
