The Made in England collection is handcrafted by Dr Martens Northamptonshire factory cobblers using original construction techniques. This unisex 1461 shoe is made with all the classic Doc's DNA, including grooved sides, heel-loop and sole unit stitching. Built to last, it's made using one of the finest methods of construction: the Goodyear Welt — which means the upper and sole are sewn together using a heat-sealed z-welt stitch. To add to the durability, these shoes incorporate TecTuff, an ultra strong workwear material making them much more abrasion, scuff and water resistant than normal. Dr Martens update their classic shoe by applying contemporary styling codes via a buckle fasten strap across the fore foot.
