It was 1969 when we made the world’s first quilted horse rug in the village of Lavenham, Suffolk. It was fit for purpose and of the highest quality, and our first gilet and jacket quickly followed. Since then, we have applied the same principles of quality and craftsmanship to a range of different functional items, and our tote bags are no exception. With room for all your daily essentials, the Lavenham split tote bag is crafted from robust and durable cotton fabric supplied by Halley Stevensons of Scotland. The upper part of the bag has an extra layer of Lavenster quilted in our signature 2” diamond quilt pattern, and the webbing tape strap handles continue all the way around the bag to provide extra reinforcement. Durable and built to last for many years, the bag features two handle options so it can be carried on the shoulder or in the hand.
