New from adidas Originals is the SAHALEX, a low-top silhouette that distills hiking and rock-climbing reference points into a functional walking shoe. Nodding towards ‘90s approach shoes, the SAHALEX remains locked in with updated, modern tooling. The uncannily grippy outsole is made from high-friction Stealth Rubber, an innovation borrowed from adidas’ Outdoor division. Climbing rubber features on the toe and heel bumpers in utilitarian black, and pull tabs appear on the heel the tongue.

Bare of three-stripe branding, the Sahale X features subtle logo hits on the heel and tongue. Initial drops of the Sahale X nod in the direction of the signature hues of the adidas Spezial range.
