Collection: Adidas Yung-1 Sneakers
Right on the heels of the 2018 ‘ugly shoe’ trend, Adidas launched the highly-anticipated Yung-1 sneaker. The silhouette finally arrived in June 2018, landing in two summery colourways. The mesh shoe sports a chunky, retro-runner shape and embroidered tongue details, channelling 90s style with vibrant colour blocking.
The Yung-1 sneaker reimagines the ’97 Adidas Falcon Dorf, updating the chunky shape with a new sole underfoot. Midfoot, the classic Torsion system works to give you stability where you need it most, giving you a great shoe for all-day wear.
Its release saw the shoe become an instant hit with hype beasts, with the bold design making them perfect for Instagram. This hybrid silhouette landed in two loud colourways, showcasing a fresh tricolour design with bright 3-Stripes finishing the sidewalls. Adidas were quick to follow with more understated black and white colourways, which dropped in September 2018.
The Adidas Yung-1 sneaker is one of the brand’s hard-to-get styles, with sneakerheads hot on the heels of every new colourway release. Can’t find a pair this time?
