Collection: Adidas Tobacco Sneakers

Another classic from the Adidas archives. Early 2018 saw the relaunch of the Adidas Tobacco sneaker, a casual 80s trainer with a tanned suede upper. The silhouette was originally released back in ’78, and the modern update stays true to the classic design. Dubbed the ‘ultimate lifestyle shoe’, the Tobacco is a style that’s born and bred for leisure, quickly becoming a favourite with sneaker collectors worldwide.

The Tobacco sneaker omes in a low-profile build, featuring a tanned suede upper, serrated leather 3-Stripes and perforated detailing. Inspired by the rich, smoky colours of the tobacco leaf, the shoe was released in a selection of brown and caramel colourways. Underfoot, the gum rubber outsole offers firm traction and gives the shoe that signature Adidas look.

One of the most striking details about the shoe is its brushed suede upper, which gives the shoe its rough texture. This gives the shoe a truly vintage feel, cementing them as a throwback to the 70s and adding to that lifestyle appeal. The tonal panelling throughout the shoe also contributes to its casual, timeless look. This is a shoe that’s easy on the eyes.
