The Adidas Sobakov sneaker is a silhouette that captures the fervour of football fandom. New for 2018, this style takes inspiration from classic Adidas soccer shoes, updated with a sculpted sole and knitted upper. Bringing you the best in comfort and support, the Sobakov gives sneakerheads a taste of football fashion that’s designed for the streets, not the pitch.

An instant classic, one of the defining features of the Sobakov sneaker is the spiralling outsole. This aggressively sculpted rubber sole is designed with a wavy herringbone pattern, complimenting the fierce swerving stripes that complete the sidewall.

Looking closer at the Sobakov shoe, a keen Adidas fan will be able to spot nods to other classics from the 3-Stripes brand. The wraparound reflective 3-Stripes and offset laces are pulled straight from the Adidas Predator Precision, a football boot from the 00s. The flat sole and monochrome upper hint at previous football casual styles like the Gazelle and the Samba. And, like its predecessor the Kamanda, the Sobakov features a heavily-treaded cupsole, crafted from translucent rubber.

Since its initial release, the Sobakov has seen a host of colourways and collaborations, including a collection with Boston-based streetwear brand Bodega.
