The Adidas Nizza silhouette was originally designed as a basketball trainer. Launched as part of the Originals range in the 1970s, the Nizza’s casual design made them a hit both on and off the court. 40 years later, Adidas keep this classic silhouette up to date with a selection of new colourways and limited-edition releases.

The original Nizza trainer was launched at a pivotal time in sneaker history. Through the late 70s and early 80s, trainers started to cross over to the high-street fashion scene, and the Nizza was one of the first shoes to become part of this hip-hop uniform. The modern-day Nizza now comes in both a low-cut style and a high-top version, giving the classics hoops design some modern detailing.

Adidas Nizza sneakers are designed with a breathable canvas upper, making them comfortable for both activewear and ultra-casual looks. The shoes also feature a vulcanised rubber outsole and a rubber toe bumper, ensuring secure grip with every stride. These retro-inspired designs come complete with Adidas branding on the tongue and heel, along with the iconic three stripes on the sidewall.
