The name I-5923 derives from the number system for the legendary Adidas archives, which the three-stripe brand frequently visit for inspiration. Pulling elements from other Adidas Originals, the clean silhouette became an instant hit with sneakerheads. Since its release, the shoe has seen a huge variety of collabs and colourways, including a Pride rainbow style to celebrate the LGBT community.
