This holiday season, Vans introduces the Vault by Vans x Ray Barbee “Capturing the Journey” collection that celebrates creativity by putting Vans’ signature skate twist in collaboration with the sophisticated photography brand, Leica Camera AG.
Described as the happiest man in Skateboarding, Ray is undoubtedly an icon in Skating. When he's not rolling on a board he's rolling canisters of 35mm capturing the environment in which he finds himself. For this short film we see Ray visit Tobin Yelland a friend and fellow grand wizard in the photographic arts to chat about the early days of skating and shooting on film. Before heading over to see his buddy Danny Garcia aka the Reverend Baron for an impromptu Jam session. The fact that Ray juggles so many creative outputs and does it with such good vibes and an infectious enthusiasm means he remains a constant inspiration to us all.
