Surf’s up for this new collaboration from Miami’s Shoe Gallery on the Grid 9000 inspired by the neon colors of 1990s surf culture and apparel.
The totally tubular Grid 9000 features a multi-colored upper constructed with premium leather and mesh in the bright shades typically found on the wetsuits and other apparel of any surfer in the ’90s, even including some bodacious colour fading on the midsole and a splatter graphic at the heel. Tumbled leather, mesh and synthetic materials come together on the construction of the shoe, which in turn notes minimal branding. As a nod to old school surf brands such as Ocean Pacific, T&C, Body Glove and Surf Style.
