The Instapump Fury was introduced back in 1994 and although it’s been a staple favourite over here it’s extremely popular over on the other side of the world from Hanon, particularly Japan, Korea and China. In lieu of this Reebok present this collaboration with Hong Kong based boutique Empty Canvas for a triple white colourway.
Another Hong Kong based native is largely credited for some of the popularity in the East and that man is Jackie Chan, who lent his name to a neon yellow colourway. Over the years the cream of the Asian sneaker scene have released versions including BAPE, United Arrows, BEAMS and Mita Sneakers. We even had one out just under two years ago.
The white neoprene/leather upper is complimented by the all white sole unit and white branding. One of the only details picked out is the Empty Canvas branding on the heel, indicating the origin of the collaboration.
There is however another dimension to these that isn’t instantly apparent and that is the glow in the dark detailing seen below.
