Diadora and Packer Shoes pay homage to Rawkwon’s “Purple Tape” with this premium edition of the N.9000. Drawing clear inspiration from the transparent purple cassette tape originally released in 1995 the shoe is dressed in soft purple suede panels over a purple mesh base. The co-branded tongue label is a nod to the “Parental Advisory” stickers that often feature on music releases with explicit content. The footbeds feature the track listings from side 1 and side 2 respectively and “1995” can be seen embroidered on the heel of the shoe. Finally the shoes outsole is a transparent purple gum that resembles the tape itself.
