PUMA and Harmony’s Creative Director, David Obadia join forces once again for the latest Co.Creative sneaker pack inspired by mid-century modern design. Giving streetstyle an artistic vision, the collection influenced by neo-modern artists of the 20th century highlights a fresh take on the classic PUMA RS-1 and Crack silhouettes.
The PUMA Co Creative x David Obadia Collection launching at HANON, February 12th.

Keeping with PUMA’s RS chronicles this season, David Obadia co-creates the RS-1 CC sneaker. First released in 1985, the latest iteration is built with a vintage-like nylon upper and suede overlays. Decked atop an off-white midsole that’s fitted with the innovative Running System (RS) technology, the sneakers sport a unique zig-zag stitched Formstripe overlay and embroidered PUMA branding on the heel piece. Dropping in unique Cordovan-PUMA silver and Glacier Gray-Inca Gold colorways, the design fuses Harmony’s minimalist vision with PUMA’s sports-inspired staples.
Completing the sneaker pack is the famed PUMA Crack (The name ‘Crack’ was coined from German slang where it describes someone, usually a sportsman, who is exceeding in something) Debuting at the 1968 Mexico Summer Games, and worn by track athlete and gold medalist Tommie Smith. In what could’ve been the most powerful gesture in sports history, at the awarding podium witnessed by thousands of people, he raised his right fist as a silent protest against racial inequality.
