Retirement hasn’t stopped the man Kobe from dropping shoes and it looks like he’s been having a read of the bible in his spare time as the latest Kobe in his “Four Horsemen” series sees the turn of the black horse.
Based on the biblical story of the four horsemen of the apocalypse the four horsemen represent conquest, war, famine and death. The black horse is described as the third in the series and represents famine. Not the cheeriest of topics for a shoe colourway but an interesting one nonetheless, funnily enough Nike have opted for naming it “black horse” as opposed to “famine”.
The shoe itself takes on a black to green fade on it’s Flyknit upper, with flecks of red appearing round about the midsection. The sole unit contains Zoom Air technology for cushioning and the outsole is done in everyone’s favourite gum.
