The Nike Cortez is widely regarded as the sneaker that is the key to Nike’s success. Introduced to the public during the 1972 Olympics and quickly sought after the American Olympic team were spotted sporting them.
Somewhat later on a certain American actor in a pretty famous role repopularised the Cortez or “Gumps” as they’re affectionately known. Over the past 20 plus years the Cortez has seen reworks and redesigns and now we present the latest in that long line, these two Basic Premium QS releases.
Featuring some nice extra features such as the latino gang style Nike logo on the back which also makes a subtle appearance on the lace locks as well as the dust bag that comes with them.
