Team Jordan comes correct with the last in the series of the Spike Forty releases this year and this time it comes in perhaps it’s most subdued colour way yet. With a black, red and grey very reminiscent of a cross between two of the original colour ways of the Jordan V, a shoe that the Spike Forty takes a lot of design cues from.
The features on the shoe such as the clear outsole, reflective material, lace toggle as well as additional details on the lace tips and tongue are all reminiscent of the Air Jordan V. Alongside these the modern, crafted textile and moulded TPU based upper represent Jordan DNA, while a phylon midsole with heel unit zoom air adds comfort.
The shoe pays reference to Spike Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule production company using the “Sho-Nuff” and “Ya-Dig” mottos in the inner tongue detailing.
