Originally released back in 1976 the U320 (or just 320 as it was back then) is touted as the shoe that put New Balance on the map as it was the first to feature their now signature “N” logo.
No strangers to the running game New Balance introduced their first running shoe back (the Trackster) in 1960 but it wasn’t until their designer Terry Heckler put the “N” logo on these in 1976 that they were catapulted to the top of the running world. Getting rated #1 by Runner’s World magazine that same year certainly didn’t hurt either. These OG reissues come in three colourways; a maroon, blue and a black version, all with contrasting white large “N’ logos, a contrasting stripe on the midsole and a good old gum rubber sole.
