New Balance ML2002RJ x Salehe Bembury

In a stand out year for the brand New Balance embarked on its collaborative journey with acclaimed designer Salehe Bembury in 2020. Premiering a bold detail rich take on the brands revitalized 2002 running style from the early 2010's. Bembury's eye for detail and unquestionable sense of style cemented the shoes place as one of the best collaborations of last year and teased a fruitful future from the link up. 

Here for June 2021 Salehe Bembury once again teams up with New Balance to launch a distinct take on the 2002 silhouette. Dubbed "Water be the guide" this latest iteration adopts a similar material make up to 2020's orange canyon inspired offering. However a switch up in the colour department to cool blues and fresh green hues lend the shoe an organic earthy feel. Couple that with some hits of aged brown leather, vibrant green heel detailing and a bespoke box honoring the overarching theme of both 2002 collaborations and you've got another astute offering on your hands.
