Mizuno Nagoya Grampus 'Black Out'

In a time where football crosses freely into the realms of fashion and vice versa, and where there’s a thirst for retro callbacks in both, Mizuno’s glorious history in the J-League offers up the perfect blend of vintage vibes. This project celebrates the history of Nagoya Grampus with the launch of the iconic 1993 design, bringing you ever closer to the Japanese football culture.

We've already seen the release of the iconic '93 Nagoya Grampus jersey in it's OG form as well as a collaborative offering from Soccerbible, however, for Drop 3 of the Nagoya Grampus link up, Mizuno present a stealthy blackout version. The trend of the blackout edition has come very much to furore in the realms of football kits and boots and perfectly exemplifies the ever verging 'Venn diagram' between the worlds of streetwear, fashion and the beautiful game. Teams & associations dropping blacked out jerseys to mark occasions or just to straight up flex how much better their kit is than the opposition, without needing to name names we're sure you'll be quite familiar with some. Mizuno too have contributed to this wave with their new boot program dropping stealthy renditions on the classic Morelia as well as on the more recent additions to their arsenal of boot options.

Much like the previous two drops both the tracktop and shirt feature the playful Grampus crest and script logos via a print whilst a Mizuno M logo is embroidered on the chest. A classically styled Collar V-neck on the jersey and a full zip track top with two side pockets complete the look.

The Mizuno Nagoya Grampus 'Black Out' Drop launches at HANON via an ONLINE RAFFLE. Any remaining sizes will be available via the button below.
