The Mondo Control OG in fact comes straight from a 1995 Running Catalogue, being part of the glorious Mondo series an idea of the brand founder Rhiachi Mizuno. Its main was the Dynamic Foot Counter: a stabilizer that reaches the middle of the shoe and that inspired - a few years later - the legendary Wave Technology, making the Mondo Control the proud ancestor of the Wave Rider.
