To celebrate the second collaboration between the brand and LC23, Leo Colacicco, founder of the Italian brand, and le coq sportif are taking inspiration from the iconic polo shirt worn by Yannick Noah in 1988.
The collection, which was made and developed in the brand’s French workshops in Romilly-sur-Seine, features contemporary pieces that spotlight the famous polo shirt’s stripe print.
It includes the navy blue striped track suit inspired by the one Yannick Noah wore in 1988. The collection also features two sleeveless sweatshirts, one blue and white striped and the other red and white striped. There is also a new take on the iconic black and white striped polo shirt: the logo, collar, and trim around the sleeves are red. This ‘80s-inspired collection wouldn’t be complete without a blue-white-red terry cloth headband.
Founder of Italian brand and online shop LC23, Leo Colacicco shares le coq sportif’s fierce pride in home-produced items as well as its quest for quality and unparalleled attention to detail.
