"If you want to win, hire a Finn" is the age-old motorsport adage which probably crosses over to footwear these days too given the Nordic nation's output in recent times. Karhu's latest pack celebrates Finland's world-renowned pedigree when it comes to getting lairy hatchbacks sideways on a dirt road, whilst somehow still travelling in a forward direction.

Yes, the madcap sport of rallying serves as this packs theme. With inspiration drawn specifically from a Karhu sponsored Ford Escort that competed in the 1000 lakes Rally, and its legendary pilot rally legend Carlos Sainz Sr. Who became the first non-Nordic competitor to win the off-road event.

The three shoes in the pack take their rich colourways from the car’s paint, decals and suits of rally drivers. Each shoe is a mix of soft dyed panels in pigskin suede and water repellent nylon mesh. The Aria 95s lycra elastic mono sock provides support and slip-on like comfort.
