KangaROOS partner with Berlin sneaker institution Overkill to present a double offering with biblical inspiration. Taking the tale of Adam & Eve the Overkill team craft two uber-premium executions of the Coil_R1 & Omnicoil.
First up the Coil_R1 'Adam' edition sees a masterful blend of dark green, tumbled leather on the upper- reminiscent of the fibres of leaves- while a mix of mist green smooth leather with perforation detail signals the variety of colours in the Garden of Eden. A tumbled leather is used on the tongue finished in bright and crisp apple red. A collaborative stamped leather tab sits perched on the tongue with Overkill branding sitting proudly on the heel.
Following on from the Coil_R1 is the Omnicoil 'Eve' available in a cream tumbled leather paired alongside a supple lighter leather. Pink nubuck counters the varied textures & tones on the upper, rounding off the theme of skin and nudity. The logos of the collaboration partners are colorfully embossed in the leather insert on the heel and sewn on as a cut-out side panel. Like the Ultimate the Coil_R1 'Eve' features a tumbled red leather on the tongue, a call out to the lambent snake that persuaded Eve to sin.
The KangaROOS Omnicoil 'Eve' will be available in the following sizes: (UK) 3.5, 4, 5, 6, 6.5, 7.5, 8, 9, 9.5, 10.5 & 11.
The Kangaroos Coil_R1 'Adam' will be available in sizes: (UK) 6.5 to 12.
