McNairy’s fresh, bold signature Californian style merges with Diadora's expert craftsmanship at their renowned Caerano di San Marco-based facility.
The Diadora x Mark McNairy collection launches 20th March
The first style of the collaboration serves as a nod to the world of skateboarding. Incorporating simplicity, comfort and premium quality to present an elevated take on a skate classic. The upper sees a canvas fabric applied, while on the heels we see an embroidered Diadora logo and a McNairy one on the right. The collar lining and tongue lining are produced in a soft pigskin to ensure high quality and maximum comfort. The practical elastic band features a Diadora/McNairy label decor. As for the vulcanized sole and the removable silicone footbed, they offer further proof of the absolute attention to detail marking the capsule. The finishing touch is the bright yellow rubber outsole.

The second silhouette see's McNairy work on the MI Basket, an iconic Diadora basketball sneaker from 1984. A bright colour palette sets the tone for this contemporary multicolor reworking. The upper sees a canvas fabric, premium suede and full-grain leather applied to achieve a rich and varied finish – complete with stonewash and wax treatments for added effect. Like the brace of Slip-Ons these MI Baskets feature Diadora & Mark McNairy branding on the heel.
