Clarks continue their premium Originals line where they update and revive staple styles from their back catalogue, and here we see the Wallabee Boot and Desert Boot both dressed in the finest Horween Leather, and finished off with the trademark real crepe sole unit.
You may not be familiar with Horween Leather, but it’s something that has been utilised by a lot of brands over the years, such as New Balance, Clarks, and Reebok, and the Horween Leather Company is one of the oldest continuously running tanneries in the United States.
The company was founded by Isadore Horween in 1905, and currently has the fifth generation of Horweens still working their today, and is based out of Chicago.
We must admit, the Horween Leather sure does look good on both the Wallabee Boot and Desert Boot, and with wear, that leather is definitely going to age beautifully.
