Adsum and Merrell 1TRL come together to release the first of three footwear models for a 2021 and 2022 partnership. The iconic footwear brand comes from humble beginnings, created by a passionate custom boot maker and pedorthist Randy Merrell. Randy focused on developing boots suited for the American terrain and they quickly became known as some of the most comfortable and functional boots available. Adsum’s inspiration for the three shoe collaboration was derived from the Adirondack Forty Sixers, a hiking group sometimes referred to as the 46ers. A 46er has reached the summit of all 46 peaks in the Adirondack park above 4,000 feet in elevation. As an ode to Randy, each model plays a different role in helping someone reach their goal of summiting all the mountains in New York State park. The Adsum / Merrell 1TRL Hut Moc releases this Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 11AM EST. The Hut Moc serves as the most casual of the upcoming offerings, meant to slip on when settling down for camp, or to slip into when returning home from a long hike. The ultra light slipper features an EVA outsole and a collapsible suede heel section. The upper is made from breathable perforated suede upper and has a soft leather interior footbed featuring the ADM logo hit. Debossed branding can be found on the dark green heel section of the slipper.
