adidas Pulsebeat SPZL x Peter Saville

This September adidas Spezial presents a collaborative shoe with legendary Graphic design maestro Peter Saville.
Inspired by one of Peter Saville's most instantly recognizable works, Joy Division's seminal 1979 album 'Unknown Pleasures' 43 years on Peter Saville and adidas Spezial infuse the iconic design with new meaning by reinterpreting biometric data from the men's & women's teams of Manchester United Football Club.
A project some years in the making Gary Aspden & co worked alongside Peter Saville to faithfully and responsibly present the artwork on the shoe. The original album graphic sits centre on the sleeve surrounded by black space invoking the idea of it existing in a vacuum. This concept is carried across to the Spezial Trainer which for this drop sees a reworked version of the Blackburn deployed, decked out in all black suede with rich serrated edge leather overlays around the lace, whilst reflective stripes feature on the lateral and heel tab. With flocked stripes featuring on the medial side of the shoe.  A set of custom embroidered footbeds depicting the iconic waveform graphic as well as another leather set calling out the project's name. Reflective fleck laces, a custom cotton dustbag and an expertly executed minimal box complete an impressive outing from adidas Spezial.

The adidas Pulsebeat SPZL x Peter Saville launched at HANON via an ONLINE RAFFLE.

Please note this raffle closes on Monday the 12th of September. Winners will be drawn and all unsuccessful entries will be canceled in full after this time.
