Now for something completely different. adidas present the latest entry to the sought after and beloved City Series by taking us on a trans-Atlantic voyage to the US of A with their latest iteration paying homage to a whole state let alone a single city.
Evocatively named after the Lone Star state of Texas, a place that instantly conjures up rich Americana unlike no other. Think proficiency on the guitar, epic dusty desert landscapes with red baseball caped nomads and wild horses traversing the largest of the 50 US states. This edition from adidas boasts a plush dusty grey-ish taupe suede with red leather stripes and heel overlay. The Lone Star is called out via an oversize tongue label print. Postcard styled reversible footbeds feature showing both the classic adidas trefoil pattern or a suitably Texan image.
