adidas Originals brings its newest model, the Iniki Runner, back to its spiritual roots this April with a ‘Pride of the 70s’ release.

Paying homage to the original decade of running with a brand new colorway of the 70s-inspired silhouette, the latest Iniki release draws from the iconic vibrant palettes and blocked colours of the 70s, using a nostalgic mesh construction with suede overlay panels and essential serrated 3-stripes marks as its canvas.

The shoe’s retro off-white base with blue overlays harks to the golden era of running, placed atop an essential BOOST midsole and finished with a hidden sockfit lining. The result is a nostalgic reflection on classic running design, told through the eyes of the brand that first helped to create it.

adidas Originals’ new modern-retro Iniki Runner silhouette steps out in two new iterations, one for men and the other for women, presenting the shoe’s nostalgic design in a duo of modern-retro colourways.

Faithful to the design of classic 70s running silhouettes, the Iniki Runner features a stretch-mesh construction with suede overlay panels and tumbled leather serrated 3-stripes marks. Bringing the referential silhouette into the 21st century, each shoe is then elevated with a concealed sockfit interior and full BOOST midsole, finished with an essential gum rubber outsole that completes the shoe’s classic-contemporary design.
