adidas joins forces with the Brooklyn-based store/collective in the year that they celebrate a decade of advancing ‘a Kinfolk life’
The friends behind Kinfolk first came together in 2008, drawn to each other from the far-flung locales of New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo. A desire to create products and experiences that captured their shared interests and sensibilities transcended any geographical distance and, as they enter their second decade together, they continue to hone and evolve the concept of ‘a Kinfolk life’. Perhaps best known internationally for the meticulously-curated streetwear selections in their flagship store, Kinfolk also apply their combined creativity to multidisciplinary spaces in Brooklyn and Tokyo.
The adidas Consortium Ultraboost x Kinfolk launches on Saturday 10th of November
It is this combined creativity that comes together in the Kinfolk UltraBOOST and the refined, minimalist outcome is testament to how in-sync the Kinfolk family are. What could have been an overload of competing elements is instead a considered study in shades of blue, rendered across a two-tone Primeknit upper and luxurious nubuck leather on the vamp overlay and heel clip.
