The shoe itself originally premiered in 1988 alongside the IC.4000 as a long distance Diadora running shoe as the brand geared up to showcase it's latest innovations during the Summers Soul Olympics. (We worked on a project themed around that back in 2016) Originally constructed with with polyurethane wedges and stabilizers bearing Diadora's 'Vibrassorb' signature of the time. This 2023 Italian made version is as faithful a reproduction as possible.

The HANON Intrepid is kitted out in a warm grey hairy suede upper with premium mesh underlays, lush dark blue nappa leather and bright blue pebbled nubuck overlays. A metallic gold leather Diadora formstripe teams up with gold embroidered branding on the vamp as well as on the heel. Additional branding can be found on both sides of the tongue label.
The shoe is finished with an allover printed sockliners and sits on a tonal VIBRASORB midsole with contrasting dark blue rubber outsole. Each pair will be presented in a custom box with branded tissue paper, two extra lace sets, and a James McFadden silhouette sticker.

Speaking of continuing a tradition, each footbed is signed off with a Gold foil HANON flame logo as well as a bespoke Diadora James McFadden logo. A call back to some of our earliest collaborative products that begun back in 2004.
