HANON x Padmore & Barnes Plain Toe

HANON is proud to present a special edition of the Original Padmore & Barnes with two make-ups of the P500 Plain Toe silhouette.

Founded in Kilkenny, Ireland, and established in 1934, Padmore & Barnes has an illustrious history in the production of crafted footwear. Renowned as makers of crepe soled footwear, the company is synonymous with a tradition of fine shoemaking and the art of hand-stitched uppers.

Limited to 48 pairs each, these special HANON editions are constructed with No.1 plantation crepe and the finest Italian velour suedes. Each shoe is hand-stitched and crafted to the highest standards evoking the spirit of traditional manufacturing that continues to endure throughout the ages.

Arriving in brown and olive colourways with predominantly suede uppers our Padmore & Barnes P500 Plain Toes are manufactured on the original Nature Form Last from the 1960s. We’ve applied a leather lacestay with two eyelets as well as a leather heel tab for a subtle material and colour contrast and a lush leather lining continues the premium feel. Branding can be found towards the rear of the shoe where our HANON Flame logo is debossed, as well as a bespoke leather insole with our logo lock-up applied via gold foil detailing.

To finish off both of our HANON P500 Plain Toes, the uppers are sat atop a crepe sole unit which features shadow-sprayed edges and a natural coloured underside. Each pair is then presented in Padmore’s signature shoebox with gold foil branding on the lid, complete with a custom HANON hangtag.

Both colourways of the HANON x Padmore & Barnes P500 Plain Toe will be available from HANON via an online raffle which begins on January 27^th.
