Le Coq Sportif Arthur Ashe Rainbow pack. Released as a special edition
of 6 models this style is constructed in a plush nubuck upper and
features a white stitched rubber sole unit, signature script and
perforated detailing on the quarter.
Arthur Ashe was the first black tennis player to win the US open. Self
taught, growing up in a poor part of Virginia, he went on to win 72
titles including the US Open in 1968 and Wimbledon in 1975. He retired
in 1980 and devoted the remainder of his life to helping others before
he sadly passed away at the age of 49.
