The original Gel Lyte was designed In 1989 and retains its orignal Gel
cushioning system. The innovative and distinctive split tongue was
designed to remove the problem of a traditional tongue working its
way down the side of the shoe. These masterpieces were designed for the
serious high mileage runner who required the highest performance and
the most cushioned/lightweight shoe possible.
