The original Gel Lyte was designed In 1989, since then there has been many releases of slightly differnet syles this being the second issue. Retaining its orignal Gel cushioning system and now featuring a split tounge design which was designed to keep the tounge stationary and prevent it from working its way down the side of the shoe,these masterpieces were designed for the serious high mileage runner who required the ’Highest performance and the most cushioned/lightweight shoe possible.
