The classic 1960s Aztec long sleeve jersey is primarily made of a heavier nylon mix fabric, which is extremely soft against the skin, whilst retaining the durability of the original. The underarm and shoulder articulation inserts are made from a lightweight, breathable and high-stretch fabric and allow for a higher range of motion whilst aiding in the cooling of the body. The World Cup Jersey is based on the short-sleeved jersey that the England team wore for the Mexico World Cup in 1970. The original version was made from a knitted fabric with a mesh appearance, which primarily helped to make the shirt much more breathable. The mesh concept has been interpreted by using a material which is constructed similarly to a mesh, yet has the appearance and feel of an organic second skin.
